Es dificil pensar cuando la IMDb (Internet Movie Database) no existía. Esto es porque ha existido casi siempre, de hecho comenzó con una simple lista de pelis e información en una lista de correo. Pero ahora esta web, consultada por millones a diario, acaba de cumplir 25 años. Así que, para celebrarlo, han sacado una lista de las 25 mejores pelis de los últimos 25 años basándose en la puntuación de sus usuarios (aunque siempre puedan fluctuar). La mitad de las pelis son obras dirigidas por Christopher Nolan, Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino y Peter Jackson.
